Skilled Immigrants Get Express Entry In 2015

Since January, 01 2015, Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) is accepting applications for Canadian visa from eager to immigrate migrants through a new electronic platform called Express Entry. The latest introduction is intended to change and improve the way the Canadian authorities have always selected people for inwards migrations, i.e. CIC intends to




· Exercise better control over inwards migration of skills and expertise, and

· Control who should be allowed visa and who should not be accepted, and

· Establish Canadian immigration system as a credible and reliable system, and

· Provide more convenient way to various provinces and Canadian employers for selecting appropriate expertise which fit their purpose and address their requirements, and

· Successfully address the impending challenge of being able to meet the requirement of over 3 million overseas personnel in various trades by the end of this decade (2020), and

· Smoothen up the skills migration system by removing required trades tabulation and also remove yearly annual caps so as make it possible for an increased influx of trained personnel. 3

Establishment of this system is the first step in the process towards rationalization of the skills migration system. The Canadian government has with incorporation of the new platform has very clear message to the word that it does not want to play a role passive application processor but actively control the proceedings of the skills migration policy.

I have personally been involved in the analysis of Canada Express Entry, and I feel that Canadian authorities have found a very viable solution to address multiple issues like selecting only.

· Those people whose services are required in the country, i.e. people who can manage to get a permanent employment offer from a Canadian employer, or get a provincial nomination endorsement from a participating province, or 

· Those people who can prove that they are most appropriate for the permanent residence visa of the country by attaining high scores in the Comprehensive Ranking System – CRS. 

The Immigrants in turn are also bound to enjoy multiple benefits as they are now able to prove their abilities on much firmer grounds, i.e.

· They can be sure getting an employment quickly before or after entry into the country, i.e. linking EE profiles with complimenting job bank entries can help applicants in gaining employment offers much before they actually immigrate, and 

· The applicants do not need to submit their documents right away but only reference them in their profiles (though they must submit same documents later if they are selected for permanent visa otherwise the invite is cancelled), and 

· They do not need 

      o To comply with any deadline related to the creation of profiles, as they can collect documents               and even update them before making a submission, and

     o To pay any processing fee at the time of creation of their profiles, i.e. the Express Entry profiles         are created free of charge, and 

     o To worry about their occupation codes hitting any annual numbers caps, and
     o To worry about their applications being rejected as the profiles can be retained for a period of             one year on the platform

One major advantage which I would surely love to enumerate here is that Skilled Immigrants Get Would Express Entry In 2015 surely with this new system. The program framework promises selected applicants a fast application processing tenure, i.e. the selected applicants could stand a chance of landing in the Maple leaf country within 6 months of their selection.

Doesn't it somehow remind you of early and late 90’s when it was tad easy and quick to gain entry into this country?
