If you are planning to visit Canada in the next few months you need to have a proper stamped and signed visa from the government authorities. You should have an electronic travel authorisation,

You can apply for single or multiple Canada Visit Visa but if you are travelling to a destination as tourist apply for temporary resident Visa which is valid for a certain time period.
