The New
Canadian skilled immigration program has brought in a lot of relief and good
news for the applicants – either who have already pushed in their profiles or
are waiting to lodge their EOIs – from India. The first six months of the new
program have been quite illustrious as the scheme has paved way for selection
of over 12000 – 12928 to be precise – profiles for the next round of
application processing.
The Canada
Express Entry has been working like a fine tuned system; and has been inviting
a lot of interest from curious immigration enthusiasts from all over the world,
especially India; as there are number of the people waiting to line up their
profiles through various skills migration schemes being offered currently – federal, provincial and employment
based.
The
operational system of Canada
Express Entry is very unique, it has changed the way the Canadian
government selects the applicants for the entry permit of the country – now the
authorities have an active role to play in short listing process, rather than sitting
back and playing a passive role in selecting people – evaluating whatever
applications were received.
Now the
Canadian government while selecting the candidates takes its time assessing
various parameters of a profile – age, education, linguistic skills and ability
of the applications to adapt to the local conditions of the country – and
comparing them with other profiles. The profiles assessed are granted marks for
each deemed critical parameter; and ranked in a pool of profiles.
The pooling
system has enabled the authorities to select people as per their convenience
and choice; they can now set a minimum threshold for selecting suitable people
for the permanent residence of the country through federal and provincial
skilled immigration initiatives.
The selection
rounds have been evenly spaced by the Citizenship and Immigration
Canada to allow for inclusion of new profiles – lodged during the
intervals between the two successive selection rounds – in the reckoning for
short listing process. The interval also helps the authorities to judge the
scores being obtained by various profiles during that period, thus offering
unprecedented flexibility in the selection process.
The
authorities are no more dependent on the applications available for evaluation
during a specific time – the current scheme is not influenced by time factor,
but can wait for more suitable EOIs to be filed in the course of time. This
process gives Canadian authorities crucial advantage required to make the program
more effective and also plan the minimum cut-off mark for the next short
listing round.
This fact has
been duly accentuated by the way the first and consecutive short listing rounds
have been conducted. The first short listing round of Canada Express Entry was
conducted in January 2015 and a total of 779 invites were extended to people
under different schemes. After this 13 more rounds have been conducted – the
latest being on August 07, 2015. The
subsequent rounds have seen the scores fall down to 471 marks.
The resulting
selections of applications also highlight an impartial attitude of the Canadian
authorities – as promised at the start of the scheme, for instance over 2800
Indians Have Been Selected By Canada Express Entry program for permanent
residency of the country. The numbers indicated are not the numerical values,
but also indicators of a more important aspect. The applicants selected from
India form largest group of applicants – over 20% of applications – short listed for the next round.
The
consistent reduction in the minimum pitch marks indicates at the favorable
times for immigrants in waiting in near future. As the times progress, the
pitched scores are expected to stabilize within 400 to 500 marks.
You would be
surprised to know if you can to know How Many Indians Applicants Canada Express
Entry Selected. Over 20% of the total applications were filed by Indians. The
new Canadian skilled immigration program has been working like a fine tuned
system; and has been inviting a lot of interest from curious immigration
enthusiasts from all over the world.
